How does the SMSF Loan under a Musharaka (Joint Venture) structure work
- The regular Hejaz finance offering is based on the Islamic finance method of Ijara - Shared equity rental. This method of finance is not allowed under the SIS Act (Super laws).
-
Hejaz Gold SMSF therefore adopts the Islamic financing method of Musharaka (Joint Venture).
-
Instead of making Ijara or rental payments, the customer will make dividend payments which comprise the investment amount (which is the amount that we contribute to the purchase of the investment property (i.e. the principal amount) and dividend rate payments (i.e. which is like the rental rate of a typical Shariah finance).
