Non-Concessional Contributions

You can make regular or one-off contributions of your own, from your after-tax income. These contributions are not taxed in your super, as tax has already been paid.

From 1 July 2021, the non-concessional contributions cap is $110,000 for members 65 or over but under 75. In general, members under 75 years of age have the option of contributing up to $330,000 over a three-year period depending on their total superannuation balance under the bring forward rule. The superannuation balance needs to be less than $1.48 million as of 30th June of the prior financial year.

Contributions may generally be accepted no later than 28 days after the end of the month in which the member has turned 75.
