What is the difference between a solicitor and a conveyancer?
Both solicitors and conveyancers can offer advice relating to your property purchase and assist with conveyancing matters.
The main difference is solicitors are lawyers with extensive knowledge of property-related laws, so they are more equipped to deal with complex sales. Because of their expertise, a solicitor will often cost more, but the extra you pay could be money well spent if you require broader legal advice.
